This painting was unveiled on the Camborne Walkway in February 2015, by the subject of the painting, Sam Hunt. Sam lived in Boatshed No, 5 on the Camborne Walkway in the 1990's.

The inscription at the foot of the painting reads as follows:

"I live in a boathouse on stilts but ponder often the houses others live in."

On the other side of the shed, Sam's poem "Of Dan and the Peacock" appears as shown in the image below. The poem starts as follows:

"Of all the constellations Pavo the Peacock is visible tonight. Pavo has the whole night to himself. He struts terribly."

Camborne Walkway: This beautiful walkway goes along the Pauatahanui Inlet between Paremata and Grays Road, near Wellington, New Zealand. It takes approximately 30 minutes to walk one way (about 2 kilometres) along the walkway, or about 60 minutes return.
