This page includes a selection of images that have been taken by Rob's Photography with the Sony A7R II full frame 42.4mp digital camera using the excellent Sony Zeiss FE 55mm F/1.8 lens. These images demonstrate the excellent image quality and amazing detail that can be captured using this lens. To give you an appreciation of how these images will appear when greatly enlarged, crops of just small areas of the images are included for each image on the page, or the full-sized image is published.

These images also demonstrate the "cropping power" of a 42mp camera, particularly when a first-class prime lens is attached! This feature can sometimes mean that you can  crop an image  in preference to using a lens with a longer focal length.
