Fur Seal on the Camborne Walkway
Image No. Seals-1

This Fur Seal came ashore on 15 November 2012 from the Pauatahanui Inlet, near Paremata, Plimmerton, Wellington. The seal was a little aggressive when people tried to walk past it, and one lady had her handbag bitten by the seal and another lady fell over and hurt her knee as the seal moved towards her.

The above image was shown on New Zealand's TV ONE news on 15 November 2012.

Note that the above image has been saved at a low quality and displayed at a relatively small size. Therefore, a 40 inch wide print looks a great deal better and shows a lot more detail. To obtain the best appreciation of the quality of an image, please display the image on your screen at a reasonably small size. These images were captured with the Sony A55 digital camera using the Sony 18mm - 250mm lens.
